The Goddard School had a Christmas program at a local church, it was adorable! Owen and Amelia both LOVED performing. Amelia was the only one in her class dancing! It was super cute seeing them up on stage and loving it!
Santa came to visit us at the Villages of Woodland Springs Amenity Center and we were lucky enough to have breakfast with him and tell him what we wanted for Christmas. Owen asked for Lego's .... and Amelia wasn't quite ready to sit on Santa's lap just yet. There was no tears ... she just put her arms up and slid right out of his!
We spent Christmas eve at the Anderson casa ... they went all out with decorations and food! It was wonderful! I seriously think I ate my weight in food ... but after all it was Christmas! After dinner the kids read a Christmas story from the view of the donkey that carried Mary. Then the Anderson girls treated us to some piano playing. It was truly delightful! I went to midnight mass alone and let the kids sleep. The next morning we woke up and waited for Nana and Papa to open presents. This year Amelia was old enough to enjoy opening her gifts and it was so fun watching her and Owen. We then had a massive breakfast and hung around the house for the rest of the day.
